From the web site: "Someone once said, "It's a marvelous night for a Moondance" ... Cellars, that is. One of Sonoma County's boutique winery treasures, Moondance Cellars produces award- winning, limited production Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel, hand-crafted from grapes of the Napa, Sonoma, Russian River, and Dry Creek Valleys.

Vintners Priscilla Cohen and David Cohen, Winemaker, serve up their wines in a casual, and friendly tasting room in the Jack London Village (circa 1860) of Glen Ellen, California."

Personal comments: I recently stopped in to find out more about Moondance Cellars, and was warmly greeted by Priscilla Cohen herself, and this is much of what I love about the Sonoma Valley -- here you get one-one-on time with the winemakers and proprietors, which is very hard to get or downright impossible in Napa. You would be hard pressed to find a better experience than stopping in here and having a direct conversation with the people who make the magic happen -- and this is true for many of our wineries in this Valley. Stop in, take some time, and find out not just about the specific wines you are tasting, but also about winemaking in general, and the area, and what you simply can't miss. This is what it's all about.
